Dylan was born on Friday, January 19, 2001 at 6:38am. He was welcomed into this world by his father (pictured above), his mother, and several grandparents.
Dylan's parents moved to Gastonia, NC, leaving him with his great-grandparents in Lincolnton, NC. He lived there until his father moved back to Lincolnton in approximately 2010.
At age 17, Dylan began his first job at BI-LO, a grocery store chain in the southeastern United States. He started as a cashier and within a year had moved through the bakery/deli, host at self-checkout, pharmacy technician, and then bookkeeper/manager before quitting in March 2020.
Dylan quit his job at BI-LO in March of 2020, right as the first cases of the Coronavirus Pandemic were emerging in the USA. Luckily, he was able to find a "temporary" job at Zips Car Wash until something more permanent could be established.
In less than a year, Dylan had advanced from a Customer Service Associate, through the Lead position, and had been titled an Assistant Site Manager at the Lincolnton, NC location.
3 months later, Dylan stepped up to be the Site Manager at this same location. He began his true, solitary management journey as he was the only manager at this location and continued this journey instead of looking for another job.
Today, Dylan continues learning, growing, and loving his Site Manager role at Zips Car Wash. Although he thoroughly enjoys the car wash, he is now looking for an entry-level position in the IT industry.
Although past years of employment has been experienced in both customer service and financial reporting, I’ve recently began a new interest in the computer science field, specifically information technology.
An effective UI/UX is what captures attention and spreads a clear message. I make sure the design is innovative and neat with all of this.
